Connections Through Collections: The Future of Museums

The Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society (FRAMS) invites you to celebrate International Museum Day with a talk by Dr. Dean Oliver from the Canadian Museum of History in Ottawa on how museums tell the stories of their objects. Who chooses? From what viewpoint are the stories told? How do museums reach all audiences? Dr. Oliver will discuss how museums are evolving to become the storytellers our society needs to help us understand our world. Doors open at 6 pm for a reception with complimentary appetizers and cash bar. Dessert reception follows Dr. Oliver's presentation.
