The Telus World of Science is a place that values innovative thinking in our city, which made it the ideal setting for the sixth annual Top 40 Under 40 gala. Avenue honoured 40 leaders in our community at the October 30 event, hosted by Global news anchor Gord Steinke. And 300 people celebrated with the recipients and the judges, who included Simon O’Byrne, vice-president of Stantec and chair of Edmonton Chamber of Commerce. “It is a real honour and privilege to find out more about this phenomenal group of people who are changing Edmonton in fun and dynamic ways,” said O’Byrne. “These people are about making Edmonton a richer, more cosmopolitan place. It was a privilege to read their stories as a judge.”
