Enjoy a night out celebrating local art at the Fringe Festival from August 16 to 26. Featuring performances across the city, the Fringe has been a hit in Edmonton for years. Tickets for the more popular shows tend to sell out pretty quickly so make sure you get your tickets as soon as you can.

Anjalee Wijewarden will guide you through a number of different forms such as Kandyan, Leekeli, Kulu and Kalagedi. Wijewarden has been featured in television and is familiar with both contemporary and traditional styles.

Enjoy an elegant evening out in support of Edmonton’s WildNorth, a charity that heals and releases animals back into the wild. This masquerade event is being held on August 17 on Edmonton’s riverboat as it chugs along the mighty North Saskatchewan, and there will be music, drinks, hors d’oeuvres and more.
