Firefly Theatre hosts their annual showcase and fundraiser, Let There Be Height: An Aerial Cabaret, on June 7 and 8. The event features professional and upcoming circus artists showing off their talents as they soar, spin and stun — it’s an evening you won’t want to miss.

On June 7 and 8, the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra is taking audiences to a more magical place — the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The evening’s repertoire will feature music from all 8 films, including compositions by John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper and Alexandre Desalt.

If one fair just isn’t enough for the summer — and K-Days seems a world away — stop by this eco-friendly fair on the south side. The one-of-a-kind green carnival, Sustainival, will take place from June 8 to 11 and feature all the typical fair festivities, from rides to mini-donuts to games.

Tim Okamura’s “Begin Transmission” exhibition opened on May 25 at the Peter Robertson Gallery, and will close on June 13 — so make sure to stop by before it wraps up. Opera Nuova is bringing a full schedule of concerts and performances to Edmonton at their 2017 festival, including a Song Soiree series. In this series, performers take audiences through a repertoire from musicians within a particular nationality. The French Song Soiree takes place on June 7.
