Watch a dance performance that showcases Canada’s history
Alberta Ballet is celebrating its 50th anniversary in the same year that Canada celebrates its 150th – and that’s cause for celebration. The production Our Canada delivers an evening of gorgeous choreography that explores the province and the nation through the music of the legendary Gordon Lightfoot. You can catch the performance on May 12 or 13.

Experience the infamous barber of Fleet Street
If you’ve always wanted to experience the legendary Sweeney Todd live, you’re in luck – Elope Musical Theatre is bringing the musical to Edmonton. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is the infamous tale of an exiled barber who returns to London seeking vengeance. Randy Brososky plays the lead role of Sweeney Todd, and you can catch the production from May 4 to 13.
