Start your weekend off right at the Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival, which returns — for its 20th anniversary — on November 10 and 11. Enjoy bites from local restaurants, phenomenal wines from around the world and more.

Conductor Michael Krajewski will take you on tour of Hollywood on November 10 with The Glorious Sound of Hollywood. He will be joined on stage by Andrew Wan and Tyler Hamilton for an evening with a repertoire that includes hits from movies such as The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz and Schindler’s List.

In Constellations, written by Nick Payne and directed by Amy DeFelice, the audience is taken through a romantic journey that starts with a simple encounter. This production, which stars Mat Busby and Liana Shannon, is the first of Shadow Theatre’s 2017/2018 season, and is on stage until November 12.

If you’ve read Amanda Lindhout’s best-selling memoir A House In The Sky, check out her mother’s memoir on the situation, One Day Closer: A Mother’s Quest To Bring Her Kidnapped Daughter Home. Stewart will be joined by Lindhout for the event, which takes place on November 6.

On November 7, check out Long Time Running, a 2017 Canadian documentary about The Tragically Hip’s 2016 tour. The documentary follows Gord Downie and the band in his final tour before his passing and offers behind the scenes and on-stage footage, personal interviews and more. There will also be a poetry reading by Liam Coady before the screening.
