Joseph Hartman’s solo exhibition “The Artist’s Studio” runs at the Peter Robertson Gallery until October 10. The exhibition features a series of photographs revealing an intimate view of artists’ creative spaces — get a peek into the creative minds of over 100 contemporary Canadian painters and sculptors by seeing where they work.

Hit the movie theatre on Friday the 13th for a spooky double feature. Metro Cinema will be screening Alfred Hitchcock’s film Psycho, which has been a horror classic since its release in 1960, and the 2017 documentary 78/52, which shines a spotlight on the famous shower scene from the film.

The Walterdale Theatre kicks off their 2017/2018 season with Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House, the enchanting story of Nora Helmer and Nils Krogstad and the common adversary they face. The production, directed by Alex Hawkins, will run from October 11 to 21.
