Edmonton's first vegan food truck hits the streets

Herbivores can rejoice at the arrival of Edmonton’s first vegan food truck. During the day, Mike Brennan and Garret Kruger’s vegan smorgasbord parks in a variety of places throughout the city, often in Strathcona. But from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., you’ll often see the truck outside of Wunderbar. There, they serve up fan-favourites, including  a deep fried lemongrass tofu called The Drunken Chicken and a vegan take on the Reuben sandwich, made with a shaved seitan corned “beef” on rye bread. From tacos to sandwiches, Sailin On’s all-vegan menu is a one-stop shop for the late-night crowd. (sailinon.ca)
