Chef Daniel Costa had just opened up Corso 32 when this Q&A, about his fashion and food, came out in March 2011. Already, Edmontonians were hearing about his legendary arancini balls, regional/seasonal menus and the three-week wait to get in. Since then, both the chef and the restaurant won more accolades, including a spot in the 2011 Top 40 Under 40 and EnRoute's prestigious list of Canada's Best New Restaurants.

Instead, it was the followup blog the writer posted, which got retweeted by Smith and found thousands of unhappy readers from across the world.
This wasn't a surprise. Legions of fans wait 11 months a year for our 25 Best Things to Eat list every March. Avenue's staff is currently editing and shooting 2012's issue, which will also include our inaugural Edmonton's Best Restaurants list.
