Rebecca Rose, a mother of three, lost over 90 pounds in three years by eating properly and exercising at home. After all that hard work, she said, "winning a makeover would be the best experiance yet in my journey to my goal weight."
She was one of more than 60 men and women who entered the complete makeover contest by Avenue and CTV Morning News. Lauren Hughes, creative director of Mousy Browns salon, gave Rebecca a new do, while independent shops Thread Hill, Katwalk Shoes and Cerulean Boutique donated her new wardrobe.
She came all the way from High Level, Alta. — a 10 hour drive! — to see the man in charge, Avenue Fashion Editor, Jared Tabler.
He explained her new look on CTV Morning News: "Because Rebecca lost a lot of weight, she lost 90 pounds, you want to give her something that's really going to define her waist and give her some nice lines to show off that rockin' body she's got." Click here to see the video.
