The 2011 Design Inside the Box competition is now open.

Avenue invites local designers to create a home furnishing or accessory design for that doesn't exceed 4' by 4' by 4' . This competition is open to professionals, students and amateur interior and industrial designers and entries will be accepted until Sept 30, 2010.

Winning entries will be included in the Feb 2011 issue of Edmonton's Avenue magazine. Shortlisted entries will be included in the designer showcase in February and will receive coverage on AvenueEdmonton.com in February 2011. One Grand Prize winning entry will be selected from the finalists at the designer showcase event. The Grand Prize winner will receive flight to and accommodations in New York City and a conference pass to the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in May 2011.
