Swineherd is loosely based on a Hans Christian Andersen fable where a prince masquerades as a swineherd to win the heart of a princess. The film was directed by Wilhelm Sasnal, one of the artists featured in the Art Gallery of Alberta's exhibition Rearview Mirror. (Metro Cinema, 8712 109 St., 780-9212)
