Behind the Scenes of the Final Avenue Photoshoot

We take you behind the scenes of the final Avenue Edmonton summer issue photoshoot with Cooper & O’Hara, for the Ode to YEG feature.

This spring, our photographers Cooper & O’Hara constructed a large green COVID box and set up a makeshift studio in the back of a warehouse bay. With the bay doors open, people pulled up one by one in their cars and let us photograph them while keeping their social distance.

You can see more photos and the full piece in our summer issue’s feature, Ode To YEG.

In this issue, we celebrate our final issue of Avenue Edmonton with a series of love letters to our fine city. Our last issue is no reason for sadness. We’re back this autumn with a new name, a new look — we can’t wait to launch Edify Magazine.
