Paint like a queen

Drag Queen Paint Night, hosted by Robert Thorne (a.k.a. Agata Gogh) on November 16, will walk you through painting a 12” x 16” canvas during an evening of fun and experimentation with colours and forms. There will be music and a performance during the class, and all supplies will be provided.

Handmake it

Make it: The Handmade Revolution comes to Edmonton November 21 to 24. Over 180 of your favourite Makies will show and sell their handmade and heartfelt goodies, including accessories, jewellery, clothing, art, home decor, food and baby/kid items. There will also be delicious food carts and a beer garden.

Take an overture tour

The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra is putting on a free, one-hour information session and backstage tour of the Winspear Centre (with lunch and beverages!), November 13.

Canadian crafts

The Signatures Butterdome Craft Sale features the works of over 280 artists, artisans, makers and designers from coast-to-coast and is a uniquely Canadian handmade marketplace. The annual tradition (since 1990) where visitors can meet passionate creatives in-person, hear their stories and feel their works first-hand at this annual tradition (since 1990), November 28 to December 1.

‘Twas the night to fundraise

The Alberta Craft Council’s annual ‘Twas the Night Edmonton fundraiser happens November 30. It’s a night of music, festive drinks, delicious bites and a silent auction. It’s a great way to get some holiday shopping done, too!
