Measha Brueggergosman has performed for Queen Elizabeth II, Nelson Mandela and the Prince of Wales. But recently, the opera soprano sang alongside the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra at the Winspear Centre. Prior to the Oct. 29 performance, sponsored by Air Canada, concert-goers enjoyed champagne and chocolates by Sweet Lollapalooza. Brueggergosman sang a variety of selections such as  “L’Extase de la Vierge” and several of William Bolcom‘s Cabaret Songs. “It was amazing because I’ve never sang at the Winspear; and it’s my debut with the ESO and with [conductor] Bill Eddins. From start to finish, it was a real pleasure,” said Brueggergosman.
