Since ground was first broken at McKinley Beach, the vision for this growing Kelowna development was a sense of community. Next steps for the development include the vineyard district with a future planned on-site winery, with grapes already having been planted in 2019. Private slips are available at the marina to house all kinds of watercraft, and the trail network is being expanded this year to include beach access so residents can walk or bike straight to the water.
“This community has turned out to be far greater than I even possibly imagined,” stated Russ Watson from NADG, part of the McKinley Beach development team. “To be involved with the community, now people are moved in and the positive feedback we’ve been getting has been even more rewarding. And the next few years here developing the balance of Hilltown and the amenities we’re planning will create, I believe, the best master planned community in Kelowna.”
