Whether you’re looking for a picnic box, a beer and bacon combo, or a real feast, these local businesses got you covered. Edmonton businesses are offering a variety of Father’s Day gift sets and dinner options, available for pick up.

The Butternut Tree

The restaurant offers Father’s Day Picnic Boxes, available for pick-up. Each box is filled with over a dozen treats — baked goods, sweets and savoury bites. Featured items include Candied Salmon Tart, Whisky-Chili-Maple Candied Bacon, Beer-Braised Beef, Baked Potato Pave and Sour Cherry Pie.

Chartier

Located in Beaumont, the French-Canadian restaurant has introduced gift sets assembled specially for Father’s Day — the “Morning Man” kits. Each kit includes a choice of beverage (you can choose between Garlic Vodka Caesar Kit from Rig Hand Distillery or French Canadian Coffee Kit from Roasti Coffee Company) and a choice of morning grooming product (you can choose between “Clean Face” shampoo bar and aftershave balm or “Furry Face” shampoo & beard bar and beard oil from Like Grandpa Grooming Products).

Fairmont Hotel Macdonald

This year, the hotel offers Father’s Day at Home, available for pick-up — a seasoned and fully prepared barbecue lunch or dinner. There are two options available — Father’s Day Meal and Father’s Day Snack Size.

Hansen Distillery 

The distillery has two types of Father’s Day Cocktail Kits for sale. The cocktail kits will be available for pick up between Thursday and Saturday, while quantities last.

Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market

The market offers Father’s Day Mediterranean Burger Box, available for pre-ordering. The box features a market meal for four — it includes your choice of protein, burger fixings, buns, veggies to roast on the grill, as well as some cookies for dessert.

Pip

Pip combines local beer and bacon in a delicious Father’s Day Beer & Bacon combo, available for pick-up. The set features beers from Sea Change Brewing and bacon from Pip.

Plum Home + Design

The local store has put together their favourite picks to create gift boxes for Father’s Day. Each box has
a gift card for a howler of your choice from Odd Company Brewing,  Whiskey Bar from Jacek Chocolate, a brass bottle opener from Plum Home + Design, coffee from Iconoclast Coffee, and more. Boxes are available for in-store and online purchases.

RGE RD

Treat your dad to a feast with this Father’s Day Feast, which has an assortment of products, ready-for-the-grill, made with local ingredients. The package includes heritage pork sausages from Nature’s Green Acres, thick-cut dry-aged striploin or ribeye from Nonay Beef, house blend steak rub from The Butchery by RGE RD and East Coast lobster bites with chili butter from Effing Seafoods.
