The team at Get Cooking, the downtown culinary school, has now begun teaching Virtual Cooking Classes. The chefs invite Edmontonians to connect and cook with them, as they will be sharing both new and tried-but-true recipes, cooking tips and showcasing the preparation of meals via livestream. Past online classes included Knife Skills, cooking Ragu Bolognese and preparing Gamjatang, a Korean pork, cabbage and potato soup, using locally sourced ingredients.

Participants will also get a chance to provide their input on what they would like to see from Get Cooking, during this social distancing period and beyond. You can sign up for classes through the website, and watch for updates on upcoming classes. Some classes are free, while others will require paid registration.
