Virtual Alberta Farm Tour

Museums aren’t the only ones hosting virtual tours at this time. Take a closer look at this east-central Alberta farm that is now offering virtual live tours.

Located in Vermilion, two hours east of Edmonton, Chatsworth Farm now offers free live farm tours through Facebook Livestream.

Established in 1993, the family-owned farm grows grain and legume crops, as well as raises beef cattle, sheep, turkeys, ducks and chickens for eggs and meat, on more than 2,000 acres of scenic parkland.

The virtual tours will feature cows, calves, sheep, ducks, geese and more. The weekly tours will be ongoing — the next one will take place on Thursday, April 2, at 6 p.m. As the farm is currently in the middle of calving, the upcoming tour will focus on the new calves that have been recently born.

Check the farm’s Facebook page for future tour dates and updates. You can also watch past tours on the farm’s YouTube channel.
